In the heart of Saurimo, the restaurant DUNAS emerges as a contemporary space that celebrates Angolan identity. More than just a place to dine, it opens up to the city, becoming a meeting point for sharing and celebration. Its clear and welcoming design creates a luminous atmosphere that invites guests to linger.
The architecture emphasizes clean lines and materials connected to the local context. Light-colored stone reflects the intensity of tropical light and ensures freshness, while wood introduces warmth and texture, creating a balance between sophistication and naturalness. Fibers and fabrics in neutral and earthy tones evoke the Angolan landscape, while subtly integrating with the climate and surroundings.
The result is a space where tradition and modernity converge. DUNAS embodies Angolan hospitality through an elegant and timeless architectural language, where every detail — from light to materials — creates a unique sensory experience, deeply connected to the culture and spirit of Angola.
