This boutique development was designed with a modest number of smaller accommodation units, in order to naturally blend into the terrain. With a prime location high above the Capelas, the main building houses the collective facilities, with a strong wellness focus, and the studio-stye accommodation units dot the large, flat site that extends to wide panoramic views over the northern slope.
We understand that the project is perfect for leisure tourism since the development is located in an attractive landscape: the site enjoys unobstructed panoramic views over the sea and the northern slope of the island of São Miguel and has green spaces for common use covering more than 50 m2 per studio accommodation unit. The accommodation units all have balconies with an area of more than 4 m2. The development will feature six accommodation units covering more than 40 m2 each.
In addition, the development features a strong component of tourist entertainment with the inclusion of a Wellness Centre (wellness/SPA) equipped with facilities for the practice of physical activities for recreation, well-being, or balneotherapy, with various uses: i) sauna; ii) Turkish bath; iii) massage rooms; iv) beauty salon; v) other uses linked to the same theme. It will have a large outdoor infinity pool (for adults and children) with a size appropriate to the capacity of the development and an equipped outdoor living area for common use consisting of a terrace with a bar. It will house a gym suitable for the size of the development, as well as an outdoor activity centre with a range of uses, such as: a) sightseeing on bicycles or other similar vehicles; b) sightseeing via interpretive walking tours with a guide; c) caving, climbing, canyoning, mountaineering or other adventure sports, always accompanied by a guide with training recognised by the competent authority.
