Located in the historic centre of Ponta Delgada, the bar is located on the ground floor of a 19th-century corner building, close to the Igreja da Matriz (Church of São Sebastião). The architectural proposal reflects a design that takes care to maintain the formal features of the interior of the building, such as the stone arches, as well as providing a distinctively permanent space.

Conceptually, the aim was to create an elegant, cared-for, industrial atmosphere. Therefore, the pipes and plumbing are visible, the walls feature a purposely unfinished look that contrasts with copper notes and furniture meticulously chosen by the clients, such as vintage pieces or lamps from the 1950s.

Above all, the bar seeks to suggest decadent refinement, with a continuous and fluid spatial organisation from which different leisure and living spaces emerge.  The existing space is emphasised, as is the counter of the bar, which is understood as the nerve centre of the establishment. The terrace endows the bar with visual and physical continuity, providing it with versatility. The architectural design as well as the interior architecture are, therefore, a tribute to another era.
